Plant-based food companies are rising up against Big Meat

I’m not anti-meat, however I feel like as Americans we eat way to much of it causing massive confinement lot operations that I just have a hard time supportinng. If we cut back on meat (and sought out locally produced, humanely raised heritage products full of robust flavor) we would be getting a more sustainable product and support our local farmer (and economy). It takes a little more effort, but I feel it’s well worth it in consideration of health of the animals, the earth, and my family.
